India, July 6 -- Actor Shafaq Naaz took her fans by surprise last month as she revealed being married to Muscat-based businessman Zeeshan since late 2024. Sharing why they decided to keep the news private for this long, Shafaq shares, "When we decided to take our life forward, a lot of chaos happened and it was then that we decided to just quietly take that big step." The couple was in a long distance relationship and got hitched on October 31, 2024 in an intimate ceremony. Shafaq shares that her health struggles post marriage also influenced the timing of the news. "I had knee surgery at that time and I just started walking in September last year without support. We felt that was not the time to talk about marriage. Also, I liked having a little secret of ours with the peace of no one knowing it," she laughs. As a married woman, Shafaq is loving the companionship she is experiencing with Zeeshan. "For the last 10 years I have been living alone. Coming home from work to no one felt lonely. I wanted someone to share a meal with, talk and just be with each other. Zeeshan actually gives me good advice. Marriage has made our bond more beautiful; it's magical. I can't imagine life without Zeeshan now," she ends....
