Farah Khan shuts down rumours of Saif Ali Kan starring in Main Hoon Na
India, May 17 -- Actor Saif Ali Khan, in a recent interview, revealed that actor-producer Shah Rukh Khan had offered him a role, a 'great part' in his 2004 action drama, Main Hoon Na. However, director Farah Khan eventually turned down the idea.
Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, the 55-year-old recalled, "He (SRK) once called me for Main Hoon Na. He said there's a great part", adding, "And then, Farah called me later and said no, no, no."
The actor did not reveal which role he was being considered for. The claim, however, left fans speculating if he was approached for Laxman Prasad Sharma's part, which was eventually played by actor Zayed Khan.
When asked about Saif's revelation, Farah appeared surprised by the claim and told us, "This is the first time I'm hearing of this." We also reached out to Saif for a comment, but did not receive a response by the time of going to press....
