India, Oct. 12 -- L&T Technology Services (LTTS) plans to upgrade its existing digital manufacturing laboratory in Peoria, Illinois, U.S., with the technology deployed at its new Bengaluru facility before the end of the current financial year, as the engineering services company expands its artificial intelligence (AI) business across manufacturing and industrial operations.

Amit Chadha, Chief Executive Officer and managing director of LTTS, disclosed the plan during a select media briefing on October 12, 2026, following the launch of the company's Engineering Intelligence (EI) Lab for Digital Manufacturing in Bengaluru. He said LTTS chose to establish a new facility in India rather than upgrade its existing U.S. laboratory first.
