India, Oct. 1 -- Artificial intelligence (AI) is becoming part of how young Indians research products, explore career options and seek answers to personal questions. But as AI tools become more accessible, a key question remains: how much do users trust their answers, and when do they decide to verify the information themselves?

A study by Rukam Capital, conducted in collaboration with YouGov, found that 70% of Gen Z respondents were comfortable with AI recommending products and services. Nearly six in 10 use AI at least occasionally for product research, while 66% reported using it for healthcare and wellbeing recommendations and 63% for career and education guidance. Another 62% use AI to help make financial decisions.
