India, May 11 -- Over the past year, the country has moved aggressively from policy discussions to infrastructure planning. The IndiaAI Mission has committed more than Rs.10,000 crore toward compute capacity, foundational models, skilling, and ecosystem development. More than 38,000 GPUs are now being made accessible through empanelled providers, with further expansion planned over the next two years. At the same time, hyperscalers, telecom giants, semiconductor players, and datacenter operators are accelerating investments across the AI stack.
