India, Sept. 29 -- The UK stock market started higher on Tuesday, September 29 2026. Both the FTSE 100 and the FTSE 250 moved up in the trading session. The FTSE 100 gained 42.14 points, which's 0.4% to reach 10,727.02. The FTSE 250 added 77.69 points or 0.3% climbing to 24,413.01. This move to the upside followed a close on Monday. The FTSE 100 had ended the day down by 0.1% settling at 10,684.88. The FTSE 250 on the hand finished 0.31% higher.
