India, Nov. 6 -- Silver prices witnessed a fresh decline in India on Friday, November 6, 2026, coinciding with Dhanteras, one of the biggest occasions for purchasing precious metals. The retail silver rate dropped by Rs 5,000 per kilogram to approximately Rs 2,05,000, compared with Rs 2,10,000 on November 5, according to the indicative retail rate previously reported.

The decline comes as investors reassess their positions in precious metals amid a stronger US dollar, rising crude oil prices, inflation concerns and changing expectations about the US Federal Reserve's interest-rate policy. Silver prices also came under pressure in international markets, reflecting weakness across the bullion segment.
