India, June 6 -- The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has recalled several Up & Up baby wipes sold at Target after testing revealed possible bacterial contamination. The recall was announced on June 5, 2026, following customer complaints of product discoloration.

Why Were Target Baby Wipes Recalled?

The recall was initiated after reports of "discoloration" in the affected wipes, which led to laboratory testing. The FDA found the presence of Burkholderia cepacia complex and Burkholderia gladioli bacteria in product samples.
