India, Oct. 31 -- Thomas Kean Jr., popularly known as Tom Kean Jr., is an American politician and Republican member of the US House of Representatives from New Jersey. Representing the state's 7th Congressional District, Kean is seeking re-election in the November 3, 2026, US midterm elections. He is facing Democratic challenger Rebecca Bennett in a closely watched congressional contest.

A member of a prominent New Jersey political family, Kean is the son of former New Jersey Governor Thomas H. Kean Sr. and the grandson of former US Representative Robert Kean. Before entering national politics, he spent more than two decades in New Jersey state government, serving in both the General Assembly and the State Senate.
