India, Aug. 4 -- The next wave of mobile connectivity is already here. Even though 6G is a way off, telecommunications firms are deploying 5.5G, also referred to as 5G-Advanced or 5G-A, that delivers much higher speeds, reduced latency, greater reliability, and enhanced efficiency compared to existing 5G technology. This is not a complete overhaul but an incremental improvement over the existing 5G technology standards through 3GPP Release 18.
