India, Oct. 20 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that in future the next president of the United States can take an unfriendly attitude to Israel, thus urging Israel to establish closer connections with India. Netanyahu's policy is directed at ensuring security of Israel through expanding the number of countries, which cooperate with Israel.

On Sunday, two weeks before Israel's parliamentary elections, scheduled for October 27, Netanyahu introduced his security doctrine. These statements were made by the Israeli leader hours before his meeting with the US President Donald Trump, who publicly supported Netanyahu's plans for re-election.
