India, April 7 -- India is witnessing mixed weather conditions on 7 April 2026, with rain, thunderstorms, gusty winds, and rising temperatures expected in several regions. According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), multiple western disturbances and moisture-laden winds are influencing weather patterns across northern and central India, bringing rainfall to some areas while other regions continue to experience early summer heat. 

Meteorologists say April may witness above-normal rainfall across parts of India, which could temporarily moderate temperatures in northern and central states.
