India, Nov. 1 -- Scientists have captured rare 4K footage of an unusual deep-sea fish with a transparent head and striking green eyes in the Pacific Ocean. The creature, known as the barreleye fish, was spotted during an underwater research expedition off the coast of California, offering a rare glimpse into the mysterious world of deep-sea marine life.

The extraordinary footage has attracted attention because of the fish's unusual appearance, particularly its transparent, dome-shaped head through which its distinctive green eyes are visible. Researchers from the Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI) observed the creature hovering in the deep ocean and documented its movements using an advanced remotely operated vehicle.
