India, May 11 -- Turkish Airlines Flight's Tyre Catches Fire: Tense moments were witnessed at Nepal's Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday after the tyre of a Turkish Airlines aircraft caught fire during landing. Airport authorities responded quickly and safely evacuated all passengers and crew members. No injuries or casualties were reported.
The incident involved Turkish Airlines flight TK726, which had arrived in Kathmandu from Istanbul. The emergency reportedly began soon after touchdown when one of the wheels in the aircraft's landing gear burst into flames on the runway.
