India, Aug. 12 -- U.S. stock futures edged higher on Wednesday, August 12, as investors awaited the July Consumer Price Index (CPI) report for fresh clues about the Federal Reserve's interest-rate path. Wall Street was also tracking higher oil prices and continued uncertainty surrounding the U.S.-Iran conflict, while upbeat earnings from artificial intelligence infrastructure companies provided support to technology stocks.
