India, July 21 -- US stock futures climbed on Tuesday as investors looked past the latest escalation in the US-Iran war and turned their attention to a strong start to the second-quarter earnings season. Positive corporate results and a rally in semiconductor stocks helped lift futures, although elevated oil prices continued to keep geopolitical risks in focus.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose about 150 points (0.3%), while S&P 500 futures gained 0.4%. Nasdaq 100 futures jumped more than 1% in premarket trading. According to CNBC, investors are increasingly betting that resilient corporate earnings could offset concerns over rising geopolitical tensions and higher energy prices.
