India, July 23 -- U.S. stock futures moved lower on Thursday as investors reacted to soaring crude oil prices amid escalating tensions in the Middle East and disappointing market reactions to earnings from technology heavyweights Alphabet and Tesla.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures fell 345 points (0.7%), while S&P 500 futures slipped 0.6% and Nasdaq-100 futures declined 0.9%. The weakness comes as traders assess corporate earnings alongside geopolitical developments that pushed crude oil prices to multi-week highs.

According to Reuters and market data, concerns over rising energy costs and renewed uncertainty surrounding artificial intelligence spending by Big Tech companies also weighed on sentiment.
