India, May 26 -- The government of Pakistan has categorically refused to accept the offer by US President Donald Trump, which sought participation of the predominantly Muslim nations in the Abraham Accords for recognition of Israel as an official state. The Pakistani government stated that they do not find the proposal acceptable since they believe in recognising Israel only after a separate state of Palestine, with East Jerusalem as its capital, is established. Trump's move forms part of his larger strategy to widen the Abraham Accords in connection with Iran.
