India, Aug. 15 -- The UAE has accused Iran of attacking a vessel affiliated with state-owned oil company ADNOC while it was transiting the Strait of Hormuz, adding to growing concerns over commercial shipping through the strategic waterway amid the wider US-Israel-Iran conflict.

The UAE Foreign Ministry said the vessel was struck on Friday night local time and that no crew members were injured. Abu Dhabi described the incident as a serious violation of international law and accused Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of targeting commercial shipping. The latest incident came after two other ADNOC-linked vessels were reportedly attacked while passing through the Strait of Hormuz on Thursday.
