Its air defence systems were active in intercepting the missiles, and there were no immediate reports of casualties. However, Israeli emergency services noted some damage to homes and vehicles from a cluster missile that wasn't stopped. Israeli military radio also reported that shrapnel had damaged a train station in Tel Aviv.
