India, Aug. 30 -- US-Israel-Iran War Latest News: Iran's economy is facing growing pressure as the conflict with the United States enters its sixth month. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said the country's exports and imports have fallen by nearly 35% because of US sanctions and the naval blockade of Iranian ports. At the same time, annual inflation has reached 66%, adding to the economic strain on households and businesses. The pressure is also being felt in Iran's oil sector and around the Strait of Hormuz, where shipping activity has fallen sharply. Washington has expanded sanctions targeting Iran's oil trade and financial networks, while Tehran says it will continue combining diplomacy with defence.
