India, April 4 -- An Iranian television channel has reportedly announced a reward for civilians who capture American pilots after a US fighter jet was shot down during the ongoing conflict between the United States and Iran.
According to multiple reports, the aircraft - identified by US sources as an F-15E Strike Eagle - went down over southwestern Iran on April 3. Shortly after the incident, a presenter on an Iranian channel urged local residents to help locate the pilots who ejected from the jet.
The broadcast message reportedly told people in nearby provinces that anyone who captures the American pilot alive and hands them over to security forces would receive a reward.
