India, April 6 --   A member of the United States Air Force who had been missing in enemy territory for more than a day after his F-15E fighter jet was shot down in Iran on Friday has now been rescued. The announcement was made early Sunday by Donald Trump.

"WE GOT HIM!" Trump posted on Truth Social shortly after midnight. "The U.S. Military sent dozens of aircraft, armed with the most lethal weapons in the World, to retrieve him. He sustained injuries, but he will be just fine," he added.
