India, Sept. 25 -- United States President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks at the White House Thursday as the two countries work to stabilize their relations amid ongoing serious differences on issues including trade, Taiwan, artificial intelligence, Iran, and technology.

There was only one economic takeaway from the summit, which is that the US-China trade ceasefire agreement remains in place until January 10, 2027. Nevertheless, the agreement is just temporary and fails to solve a number of major disagreements between the two major global economies.
