India, Sept. 12 -- The police in Jackson, Mississippi, have arrested a 51-year-old man for the killing of Tasia Fortune, a 29-year-old black woman, who was found hanged to a tree at the back of a vacant house in August. This recent development came following a determination by the State Medical Examiner's Office of Mississippi to officially classify the death of Fortune as a homicide late Thursday night. After making that determination, the police issued search and arrest warrants and apprehended Jarques Ratliff Friday, September 11th.
