India, July 13 -- Stock Market Today Live Updates: Indian benchmark indices ended their two-session winning streak on July 13, with the Nifty 50 slipping below the 24,100 mark amid broad-based selling across most sectors. Media stocks were the only major sector trading in positive territory. At 9:59 am IST, the BSE Sensex was down 284.94 points, or 0.37%, at 77,284.45, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 86.25 points, or 0.36%, to 24,120.65.

Market breadth remained mixed, with 1,803 stocks advancing, 1,648 declining, and 199 remaining unchanged on the NSE. The broader market also traded lower, as both the Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap indices declined around 0.4% each.
