Sensex Today (September 18): BSE Sensex Rises as Oil Prices Ease, But IT and Tata Stocks Limit Gains-What Should Investors Watch
India, Sept. 18 -- The Indian stock markets are seeing positive movements in the early hours of trading on Friday, which is owing to fall in the price of crude oil, along with bargain buying on account of correction seen in the previous sessions. However, gains have been curtailed due to the weak performance of IT stocks and Tata group stocks, apart from the strong inflows in IPOs of domestic companies.
The Sensex of BSE currently stands at 74,415.50, having gone up 0.13 percent as of 10:33 a.m. IST, while the Nifty 50 has gone up by 0.14 percent to trade at 23,302.40.
