India, Aug. 14 -- The Indian markets remained under pressure, with the Nifty slipping towards the 24,300 level. The Nifty Bank index also weakened, falling below the 57,500 mark. Among the major laggards, Tata Motors PV, Hindalco Industries and Max Healthcare were the top losers.
