India, Nov. 2 -- A huge rally occurred in the Indian equity markets on Monday, November 2, 2026 as the BSE Sensex index gained more than 1,000 points while the NSE Nifty 50 index breached the level of 23,300 points. Some of the large cap stocks such as Reliance Industries, Tata Steel and NTPC were witnessing huge buying on the back of positive sentiment both in domestic and international markets.

The Sensex index was quoting at 75,404.64 rising 1.27% around 9:42 am while the Nifty 50 index was quoting at 23,304.90 rising 1.08%.
