India, Sept. 18 -- Russia Parliamentary Election 2026: Voting began across Russia on Friday, September 18, in a three-day parliamentary election that will decide the composition of the country's 450-seat State Duma. The election, which runs until September 20, is the first parliamentary vote since Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Around 111 million people are eligible to vote. Authorities have spread polling across three days and introduced electronic voting in an effort to make participation easier and increase turnout. Initial and partial results are expected from Sunday evening, with near-complete results expected on Monday.
