India, March 28 -- Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday inaugurated the Noida International Airport, marking a major boost to aviation infrastructure in northern India. Located in Jewar, this is the second international airport serving the Delhi-NCR region after the Indira Gandhi International Airport. The new airport is expected to reduce congestion and handle the growing passenger traffic in the national capital region.
