India, May 22 -- According to sources accessed by HT, during a briefing to the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Education, which is headed by Congress leader Digvijaya Singh, the NTA has shared details that the next set of major reforms in the NEET-UG exam will include curbs on the number of attempts and a cap on the candidate's age, among others. This comes amid recommendations from a panel led by the former ISRO chief K Radhakrishnan.

Sources reveal that several reforms are under consideration in consultation with the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.
