India, Aug. 26 -- The Nasdaq Composite slipped 0.06% to 26,137.16 at 9:53 a.m. ET on Wednesday, August 26, as investors remained cautious ahead of Nvidia's closely watched quarterly earnings report and assessed fresh U.S. inflation data.

The technology-heavy index was under pressure as hotter-than-expected inflation revived concerns about the Federal Reserve potentially raising interest rates. The latest data showed annual U.S. Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) inflation rising to 3.7% in July, up from 3.6% in June and above economists' expectations. Core PCE inflation remained at 3.3% year over year.
