India, April 6 -- The NASA Artemis II mission has reached a historic moment as the Orion spacecraft carrying four astronauts approaches the Moon for a dramatic lunar flyby. The spacecraft has entered the Moon's gravitational sphere of influence and is preparing to travel around the far side of the Moon before heading back toward Earth. The milestone marks the first human journey into deep space since 1972, when astronauts last travelled beyond low-Earth orbit during the Apollo 17 mission.
