India, April 2 -- The disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Savannah Guthrie, has become one of the most closely watched missing-person cases in the United States this year. Nancy Guthrie was last seen on the night of January 31, 2026, at her home in the Catalina Foothills.

Authorities reported her missing on February 1 after she failed to attend a scheduled virtual church service. Investigators believe she was taken from her residence against her will, prompting a large-scale search involving local law enforcement and the FBI. Evidence at the scene included blood traces near the entrance of the home, later confirmed to belong to Guthrie, further strengthening suspicions of an abduction.
