India, July 4 -- A 26-year-old software engineer was killed in a tragic road accident after a Skoda car collided with the motorcycle she was riding pillion on at Marathahalli Bridge in Spice Garden Layout, Bengaluru, in the early hours of Thursday. The victim, NT Krishna Sri, was thrown off the flyover due to the impact and suffered fatal head injuries. Police said the motorcycle was allegedly being ridden in the wrong direction on a one-way stretch, while the car driver was later arrested after allegedly testing positive for alcohol. The investigation is ongoing.
