India, Aug. 20 -- Manipur School & College Holiday Tomorrow: Schools, colleges and higher education institutions across Manipur will remain closed on Friday, August 21, 2026, following a state government order announcing a three-day closure amid the prevailing law-and-order situation. The closure covers August 20 to August 22, meaning students will not have regular classes on August 21.

The order applies broadly to educational institutions across the state, including schools affiliated with the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM), Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), CBSE and other boards. Colleges, universities and other higher education institutions are also included.
