India, May 2 -- Repolling is currently taking place at 15 polling stations in West Bengal's South 24 Parganas district, covering the Diamond Harbour and Magrahat Paschim Assembly constituencies. The Election Commission of India ordered the fresh voting after reports of alleged tampering with electronic voting machines (EVMs) during the second phase of Assembly elections held on April 29.
The exercise is being carried out across 15 booths in two constituencies, with 11 polling stations in Magrahat Paschim and 4 in Diamond Harbour.
