India, May 18 -- There was a gathering of tens of thousands of people at the center of London on Saturday, when two competing rallies occurred at once; one was led by Tommy Robinson, who is far-right politician, and another was in favor of Palestine on Nakba Day.

Such large-scale protests required one of the largest security deployments in London recently. The city authorities called over 4,000 police officers in London to avoid any confrontation of two sides.

The Metropolitan Police established a "sterile zone" between the two processions in order to prevent the demonstrators from having any physical interaction. Drones, mounted policemen, police dogs, and even armoured vehicles were deployed as a safeguarding measure.
