Jim Jordan Refers Jack Smith to DOJ Over Trump Investigation, Accuses Former Special Counsel of Misleading Congress
India, July 23 -- Republican House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan has written to the Department of Justice requesting that the agency pursue criminal charges against Jack Smith, former special counsel, who had filed charges against former President Donald Trump.
In a letter addressed to the Justice Department, Jordan accused Smith of lying to Congress about some facts during closed congressional hearing last year. The accusations are centered around the probe that Smith did into the post-2020 election activity of the former president and the management of communications between his administration officials and members of Congress.
