India, Oct. 12 -- Jet2 has announced the cancellation of all its UK flights and holidays to La Palma, a popular Spanish island known as La Isla Bonita, or The Beautiful Island. The airline has confirmed that its existing route from Manchester Airport will end on October 30, while a planned new service from London Stansted Airport will no longer go ahead.

The decision affects travellers who have booked flights or holidays to the Canary Islands destination through Jet2. The airline has said that affected customers will be contacted and offered a full refund or an alternative holiday. The announcement comes around six months after the Manchester-to-La Palma route was launched.
