India, March 5 -- Azerbaijan on Thursday strongly condemned the drone attacks launched from Iranian territory, which targeted the Nakhchivan region and caused damage to infrastructure and injuries to civilians.

In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan released an official statement, which read, "At around midday on 5 March, drone attacks were carried out against the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic of the Republic of Azerbaijan from the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran." One of the drones hit the airport infrastructure, and another landed in a civilian area.
