India, Oct. 28 -- Vote counting is underway following Israel's October 27, 2026, parliamentary election, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's Likud-led bloc leading the partial results. However, neither Netanyahu's bloc nor the opposition alliance led by former Israel Defense Forces (IDF) chief Gadi Eisenkot appears to have a clear path to the 61 seats required for a majority in the 120-member Knesset.
