India, July 17 -- Google Gemini users across several regions reported a brief disruption today, with many encountering error messages, app access issues and unusually slow responses before the service appeared to recover. Outage-tracking platform DownDetector showed a noticeable increase in user complaints during the affected period.

The temporary issue comes weeks after Gemini experienced a much larger global outage in June 2026 that affected web, mobile and integrated AI services.
