India, April 30 -- Indian Stock Market Crashes Today: The Indian stock market saw heavy selling pressure in early trade on Thursday, April 30, 2026, leading to a sharp fall across sectors. Both benchmark indices, the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50, dropped more than 1% during the session. The 30-share Sensex declined over 1,200 points, or about 1.6%, hitting an intraday low of 76,259. At the same time, the Nifty 50 fell more than 350 points, or 1.6%, touching 23,797.
