India, Oct. 4 -- Gold Rates Today in India, October 4: Gold prices in India remain volatile ahead of the festive and wedding season, with buyers closely tracking retail rates as Diwali and Dhanteras approach. The latest average retail indicators put 24-karat gold at around Rs.14,918 per gram, while 22-karat gold is around Rs.13,675 per gram. Eighteen-karat gold is currently around Rs.11,189 per gram.
