India, Oct. 2 -- Captain Smit Machchhar, the Indian pilot who assisted in landing the flydubai plane safely following an attack in the cockpit carried out by his co-pilot, has been lauded for his bravery and level-headedness. Captain Smit Machchhar, who is 38 years old, was piloting the flydubai FZ1073 flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv when the incident took place.
