India, July 11 -- A tragic plane crash in the Bahamas claimed the lives of all 10 people aboard a Flamingo Air aircraft on Friday. The accident occurred in North Andros, just hours after another plane operated by the same airline caught fire following an emergency return to Nassau, raising fresh concerns over the carrier's safety.

Videos shared on social media showed the wreckage of the Cessna 402C aircraft scattered across a wooded area in North Andros, west of Nassau. The crash happened while Independence Day celebrations were taking place in the area.
