India, April 20 --  Businesses in the United States will soon start getting relief as the process to claim tariff refunds begins on Monday. These refunds relate to import duties that were earlier imposed under former US President Donald Trump but were later declared unconstitutional by the US Supreme Court.

The refund system will be managed by US Customs and Border Protection through a newly launched online portal. Importers and their brokers can start submitting claims from 8 am, marking the first step toward returning billions of dollars collected under the now-invalid tariffs.
