India, Aug. 7 -- The people in Delhi are experiencing serious travel troubles today on August 7, 2026, because of heavy rains, waterlogging, traffic jams, and diversions of several roads in the National Capital Region. Many important roads in the area have experienced a reduction in the speed of traffic due to slippery conditions and water, thus causing travel troubles for commuters.

IMD Issues Yellow Alert

Yellow warning has been issued by the IMD (India Meteorological Department) for heavy rain in Delhi, which is predicted to last until the evening of the next day, Friday. The rainfall is causing waterlogging problems and hindering traffic in many areas of Delhi.
